From the moment I met Carol almost 11years ago I felt an immediate connection. I knew instantly that God had a purpose. What I did not know at that time was how special our friendship would become and what a blessing I had been given. 

Having Carol as a friend is an excellent example of friendship in itself.  She is open-minded, genuine, compassionate, and level-headed, she can always be counted on to listen and provide support when needed. Her life experiences have given her the capability to see any situation in a positive sense and she has the uncanny ability to know the exact words needed, even when I can’t clearly define my own distress. Many times Carol has texted me scripture which applies perfectly to what has been weighing on me before I have even spoken it…… And every time it brings tears to my eyes and reminds me to thank God for her caring spirit.   Personally believing that ‘people come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime’, I’ve known for a long time that Carol is a lifetime friend.

 

Carol has not only been a friend, she has been a confidant, advisor, teacher, counselor and moral supporter.  

 Through the years, our respect for each other has grown deeper and stronger, she's the first person I think of calling with good news and the first one I call when I need guidance.  No matter what she's doing, she is willing to listen and give advice, putting her own daily chores aside to help a friend in need. Carol has helped me through several personal obstacles, illness, tragedies, self-doubt and family relationship issues. She has taught me so many things that ultimately enriched my life and for that, I am deeply grateful.
