What is a Success Life Coach?
A Life coach is a trained professional that helps guide individuals to make, meet and exceed personal and professional goals. They provide tools, assessments, encouragement, and accountability to help their clients achieve success. They provide an empowering environment and an objective approach rather than instruction or indoctrination. Life Coaches help their clients to see and harness the power within themselves so that their goals become a reality.

How Long Is a Life Coaching Session?
Most sessions can last anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour. 10-minute sessions are known as laser sessions. They are more pointed and specific in nature. One hour sessions allow for the development of ideas and action plans.
What is the Difference Between a Life Coach and Therapist?
1. Coaches guide clients into their future. Coaches take clients where they are and guide them forward moving in a positive direction. Therapists deal with a client’s past and pain associated with it.
2. Coaches help empower clients to solve their own problems where a therapist offers guidance and direction and takes some responsibility for the success of the client.
3. Coaching focuses on outer action with measurable results, therapy sessions focus on the inner, conscious and subconscious mind, where change is not necessarily the goal.
4. Coaching is generally a short term agreement, whereas the relationship between client and therapist is often long term.
5. Coaches don’t diagnose their clients; therapists do.
What Typically Happens During a Coaching Session?
The first session usually begins with some assessment, asking questions,
and trying to establish specifically the purpose for the client seeking
help. After the initial assessment, coaching sessions can be conducted
in various ways. Possible venues for communication are: phone, text, email,
Skype, or face to face.
Your coach will work with you to challenge yourself and develop a
plan and timeline to achieve desired results. You will never be forced to
do or say things that make you feel uncomfortable. Your coach can be
viewed as a partner to you, that will encourage you to make positive
changes and necessary adjustments so that you experience success.
During your session, your coach will provide positive, reinforcing feedback
in order for you to stay focused on your goals. Many times your coach will
provide tasks and objectives for you to work on between sessions.
How Do I Prepare For My First Sessions?
-
Have realistic expectations for yourself.
-
Be open to new ideas.
-
Be prepared to answer questions that relate to the reason you are there.
-
Expect Success.

Carol Has mentored me and helped me grow by leaps and bounds in my spiritual life. She taught me so much that I have been able to put into practice and eventually start using in my calling to teach other women. She has given practical, easy to follow advice in motherhood and even housekeeping that has helped me greatly over the past several years. I am a better mom, wife, friend, and follower of Christ because of the principles I learned from Carol
