What FAITH DOES!

Updated: Dec 13, 2019

For the Christian, faith is a staple!! It’s like food is to the body. It’s a necessity for walking in God’s best…His Blessing. I want to encourage you today, to take that “measure of faith” that we’ve all been given and grow it to full maturity. As you walk through life, you’re going to quickly realize how much you will rely on and need faith.

Life is HARD!!! And not at all fair. But God has equipped us with the ability to take Him at His WORD and stand on it when we are facing troubles. Jesus told his disciples the way you increase your faith is to start using what you have. It’s like body building. Your muscles, over time, with consistent work will begin to enlarge, grow stronger and as a result your body is stronger and healthier. Faith works much the same way. You start where you are. Believing for what you are spiritually able.

What do I mean by spiritually able? Your ability to believe God and take Him at His Word depends on YOU! How much time you spend in His Word, meditating on it, speaking it, and making it your final authority, will determine the level of faith you have and where you can begin to increase it.

This blog post is about 21 verses in the Bible that addresses what FAITH DOES. I hope you will read through them all and Hebrews 11 as well. It is often referred to as THE FAITH Chapter.

8. It delivers the promise made to Abraham to me. Romans 4:16. “It is of faith, that by grace, to the end of the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all”.
